How Effective is Authentic and Automated content for your website

When I say that content is crucial for any website to succeed online. Also, that quality content attracts search traffic and helps build your brand, I will not be saying anything new.

We all know content is crucial, but then we should also know that content should be authentic". In my view, the content on your website should accurately portray your brand. In most websites, I have seen that content talks about values, culture, and history and stuff that does not appeal to the audience. I am sure people do not read that and instead; they scan and leave the page.

So when we talk about authenticity, we have to make sure that the content in any form should cater to that respective audience or relevant visitors. So when you write something authentic people will trust you. Your website content should speak about things you believe.

So what about automatically generated content? Will Google penalize you if they find out you are doing so?

We all know that Google does not want to see a bunch of rearmed over feeds or content straight from other places. They want your website to have added value for the users. Google want to see some reason why the user will select that page. Rather than people just stumbling on that page because it’s in the search results, and user don't have good experience.

Automatically generated content is a bad thing! Well it can be, but logically automatically generated content doesn't have to be a bad thing, since Google's web results itself is automatically generated. The world seems to agree this and that is the reason why lots of people come to Google every day to do web searches. What we normally do with automatically generated content is to block it with robot.txt. This is to avoid search engines to crawl and pollute search results.

Let me explain the effects of hand-made and automatically generated content in clear words. If you have ever watched the TV show 'funniest home videos’, what you see is people accidentally falling over things, hitting themselves and stuff like that. There is a theme here and that the people are under their own power. When they bounce around and fall on their head, they only seem to be okay, because there is only a minimal amount of damage they can do under their own power. When you have automatically generated power like a motorcycle or car that’s when they hurt themselves a lot more.

So this automatically generated content has to be a bad thing? No, but in many cases, it can be powerful enough that if you are not careful the damage is lot faster.

As a writer, the importance of genuine content is in your long-term interest, and readers will stand by you and believe in your services.
